These classes are designed around essential structures and processes of any poetics. If structure helps you, you might take The Edge of Reason: Line and Perceiving Form and Another Voice before the others. They guide you through experiments with the poetic line, the deep structure of poetry. When you are working with me one-on-one structure can help “organize your force” as Emily Dickinson described her writing process. You can purchase a class here at Psyche's Horse and we can enter into creative dyad in my responses to your experiments. I will send weekly experiments that include poems to read and you will return your draft to me for a response by the end of the week or we can schedule a weekly Zoom meeting.
